Incoming Quality Engineer

Surat, India

We are looking for an Incoming Quality Engineer to join our Quality team and take ownership of raw material and component inspection at the time of inward. This role is the first checkpoint in our quality process, ensuring that every batch of material entering the factory meets visual, dimensional, and functional specifications before it reaches production. You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where speed and accuracy both matter, since delays or oversights at this stage can ripple through the entire production line.
The ideal candidate will work closely with vendors, purchase, and production teams to prevent quality issues from reaching the shop floor, and will be comfortable holding the line on quality even under pressure to keep material moving. Over time, this role offers exposure to the full incoming-to-production quality chain and is a strong stepping stone toward broader quality assurance or QMS responsibilities. You will report into the Quality function and collaborate daily with Purchase, Stores, and Production teams.
