Invoicing & Documentation (Jr. Accountant)

We are looking for an Invoicing & Documentation Executive (Jr. Accountant) to manage invoicing, e-way bills, and return entry documentation for our warehouse and dispatch operations. You will ensure billing accuracy, GST compliance, and clean reconciliation between inventory and sales records, working closely with the warehouse and finance teams on a daily basis.
This role sits at the intersection of warehouse operations and finance, so precision and consistency matter errors in invoicing or e-way bills can create compliance risk and customer billing disputes. You will be expected to keep documentation organized and audit-ready at all times, and to flag discrepancies between physical stock movement and recorded sales promptly. This role reports into the Warehouse/Finance function and is a good fit for someone detail-oriented who wants to build a career in accounts, billing, or compliance within a manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Generate invoices and delivery challan documentation for outbound shipments
- Prepare and manage e-way bills for outbound shipments
- Process return entries and credit notes accurately
- Reconcile inventory against sales/dispatch documentation regularly
- Coordinate with the finance team on billing queries and corrections
Must Have
- 2-3 years of experience in invoicing/billing/documentation
- B.Com or MBA
- Working knowledge of e-way bill generation and GST compliance
- Good MS Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Nice to have
- Experience with ERP/accounting software (Tally, SAP, etc.)
- Exposure to warehouse/dispatch documentation
- Knowledge of reconciliation processes
- Strong analytical skills
