Inward Executive

We are looking for an Inward Executive to manage the receipt, verification, and system entry of all incoming materials at our warehouse. You will be responsible for ensuring materials are checked against purchase orders, inventory records are accurate, and any discrepancies with vendors are resolved quickly, so this role sits right at the start of our supply chain and has a direct impact on how smoothly production can run. Accuracy matters more than speed alone in this role a missed discrepancy or a wrong system entry can cause stock-outs or production delays days later, so attention to detail is essential.
You will work closely with the Purchase team on vendor issues and with Production to make sure the right material is available at the right time. This role reports into the Warehouse function and offers strong exposure to inventory systems and supply chain processes, making it a good foundation for growth into broader warehouse or supply chain roles..
Responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming components/modules against purchase orders and delivery challans
- Conduct quality checks and damage assessment on inward material
- Update the Inventory Management System (IMS) accurately and on time
- Communicate with vendors and purchase team to resolve inward discrepancies
- Support periodic stock counts and cycle counts
Must Have
- 2-3 years of experience in warehouse/inward material handling
- Diploma/B.Tech
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
- Good numerical and data entry accuracy
- Basic understanding of GRN and documentation processes
Nice to have
- Experience with ERP-based inventory systems
- Exposure to electronics/component warehousing
- Experience handling vendor escalations
- Strong analytical skills
