Maintenance Shift Supervisor (Jr. Engineer)

We are looking for a Maintenance Shift Supervisor (Jr. Engineer) to keep our plant equipment running during shift operations. You will be the first responder to breakdowns, executing preventive maintenance schedules and ensuring minimal downtime, often under real time pressure since every minute of machine downtime directly affects production output. This is a hands-on technical role that requires strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting instincts, since you will frequently need to diagnose and resolve issues on the spot rather than waiting for escalation.
You will work in close, constant coordination with the production team to plan maintenance windows that minimize disruption, and will maintain detailed logs that help the wider Maintenance team spot recurring equipment issues. This role reports into the Maintenance Head and is well suited to someone who enjoys practical, fast-paced problem-solving and wants to build deeper expertise in plant equipment and preventive maintenance systems over time.
Responsibilities
- Carry out daily equipment maintenance and repairs during assigned shifts
- Respond promptly to production line breakdowns and minimize downtime
- Maintain maintenance logs, spare parts usage, and repair documentation
- Coordinate with the production team to plan maintenance windows
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during repair and maintenance work
Must Have
- 2-3 years of experience in plant/equipment maintenance
- Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
- Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings and schematics
- Comfortable working in rotational shifts
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules as per the maintenance calendar
Nice to have
- Experience with CMMS (maintenance management software)
- Exposure to preventive maintenance planning
- Experience in electronics/inverter manufacturing plant maintenance
- Strong analytical skills
